Electrifying new talent, Ben Swissa returns with his second single ‘Superficial’. The teenage multi-instrumentalist, producer, singer and songwriter has been quick to release new music off the back of supporting SIX60 on their sold-out regional Australian tour and Blake Rose.

Ben Swissa commandeers pop music’s traditional building blocks – guitar, bass, drums, keys, and voice – with a consummate savvy, a clearly deep reverence for classic soul, funk, r’n’b and pop and the kind of post-modern hyper-awareness of modern youth.

‘Superficial’, follows debut single ‘Angel’ and is another taste of his forthcoming debut EP, slated for early 2025. ‘Superficial’ is a propulsive, sunshine disco funk strut featuring dizzying synth stabs, subtle electronic enhancements and Swissa’s dazzling vocal harmonies that spin a tale of giddy anticipation.

Fresh from touring with New Zealand’s biggest touring act, SIX60 and Perth singer-songwriter Blake Rose, Ben in the past year has supported COTERIE on their Australia-wide tour and performed at SXSW, Bluesfest Festival, Music Matters (Singapore), School Night (LA), Sofar Sounds (NY), Pitch Meeting (Nashville), and BIGSOUND.
